VW recently launched Nav Companion, a web application that allows drivers to find destinations online and then transfer the information to their vehicle - eliminating the need to search with the vehicle’s less convenient interface. The tool is not only a convenience, but a safe alternative to searching while driving (You know you do).

Paul Chang Design recently underwent a facelift. The vision was to create a full screen flex application. My part in the project was to skin custom flex components using mxml and css within the flex framework, whilst harnessing actionscript transitions to create a rich user experience.

We created Mr. Bowling's website using WordPress integrated with Google's photo service, Picasa, to showcase over 600 paintings and many of his essays on art, formalism and social issues. Picasa gave Mr. Bowling a simple solution for uploading, managing and displaying his artwork on his website.

A close friend of PCD and a fantastic copywriter, Alex Loomis required a portfolio site that he could easily update with recent campaigns. Most of his work took the form of video shorts. A perfect solution was the marriage of Wordpress and Vimeo. Using the Vimeo API, we were able to pull HD clips into Alex's website and give him the freedom to update and manage his clips on the Vimeo website.

Clean Tech Open is an organization of leading entrepreneurs, academics, investors and companies, working together to accelerate the development of clean technology startups. We worked Clean Tech Open to design and build the front end of the competition website. Fresh, clean and very green.

MidState Precast provides high value, low-cost structural and architectural precast/prestressed concrete components. Based in California, the company approached PCD with a rebranding project.

My friends know that I like nothing more than finding the time to play a round of golf. So when asked to design a website promoting a beautiful 3 bedroom vacation home on a golf course on the island of Fuerteventura... I got to it. (Hoping for a cheap vacation next summer!) I incorporated a booking calendar, a flight finding tool and other useful information for sun seekers and golfers alike.

The Charles Pankow Foundation (CPF) was established in 2004 by Charles J. Pankow, founder of Pankow Builders and a pioneer in the construction industry. The foundation carries on his legacy to support and advance the professional ideals and beliefs championed by Mr. Pankow during his lifetime: to provide the public with improved quality, efficiency, and value of buildings by advancing innovation in design and construction.

At PCD we wanted to create a not so typical blog. A place online where we could quickly upload news, ideas and project updates. It turned out that a combination of Wordpress, php API's and javascript libraries was a perfect solution.

Angela Barraclough is a private optometrist in Huddersfield England. Angela needed to attract a younger customers to her practice, a new website was all part of the plan.

Sony Entertainment needed a Mac and PC based screensaver to promote the launch of their new movie, 'Are We Done Yet?' Simple design and animation, but fun none the less.

Dr. Steven Kurtz creates websites that provide centralized sources of information for medical implant materials. The goals of The Medical PEEK website are to highlight recent developments in clinically relevant PEEK research and to stimulate hypothesis-driven investigations related to medical grade polyaryletherketones. For medicalpeek.org I was involved in logo development, web design development services.

A personal project that I am very proud of. This mobile application utilises Flash Lite for mobile phones, and provides a comprehensive first aid manual in the palm of your hand. iMedic generates video tutorials, audio instructions and textual content for many first aid and emergency aid senarios. The application can also double as a storage device for any emeregency information a user may want paramedics to know in the case of an emergency.

PCD worked with Promotions.com to create an online promotion site for Malibu Rum, offering the chance to win a holiday for 2 to Barbados. Image was everything during this promo design. I had to capture and reflect malibu as a brand in every single detail, from the fonts used to the button styles and colors. Sadly we couldn't enter to win, some kind of legal thing :)
